Terms and conditions
PLEASE NOTE BY STAYING AT MEDLEY MEADOW YOU AGREE TO ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS -
Terminology
“We” and “us” - refers to the Medley Meadow owners and staff.
Welcome pack
Upon arrival, please read the welcome pack provided in your accommodation paying particular attention to the safety information.
Bookings
Due to the nature of Medley Meadow being predominantly for families and couples, regretfully we do not accept bookings from hen or stag parties or large party groups. If in doubt, please contact us to check.
Smoking policy and fires
Fires are only allowed in the log burners, fire pits and chimnea. Fire pits and chimneas must not be moved due to risk of sparks and to preserve the surrounding landscape. Please do not leave fires unattended at any time. A provision of logs will be supplied on arrival and further supplies are available to purchase on site. Kindling and firefighters are available for free on site. Please only use enough kindling as necessary so there is plenty for all guests. No foraged wood must be burnt. The fallen wood provides vital habitats for insects and animals and is not appropriate for burning.
There is a strict no smoking policy inside all accommodation and anyone smoking on site is responsible for disposing of their extinguished cigarette butts in an appropriate bin and not in log burners, fire pits, chimneas or on the land as they are attractive to wildlife.
Assumption of risks
Please be aware of risks involved with use of the log burning stoves, fire pits, chimneas and candles and the risks associated with the natural landscape, with particular care taken around water and uneven land. It is your responsibility to supervise children particularly around areas with potential hazards.
Guest conduct
We operate a strict Silent Night policy to ensure that everybody enjoys their stay and everyone can enjoy the peaceful countryside experience at Medley Meadow. Noise must be kept to a minimum and no music to be played after 10pm. Please be aware that noise travels when sitting outside and be considerate towards your neighbours. Excessive noise will not be tolerated. Guests agree to behave in a proper, appropriate and legal manner with respect to the owner, the site, other guests and their property. Guests are not allowed to bring on site any of the following items - fire arms, hunting equipment, fireworks, Chinese lanterns or drones. Guests are welcome to bring visitors on to the site if agreed in advanced with the owners. Dogs are very welcome but must be under control and must not be allowed to chase any wild animals. You agree to be liable for any damage or injury to person or property or additional cleaning caused by any dog you bring on site. If any guest behaves inappropriately, improperly or illegally, or if we receive a complaint, we reserve the right to ask the guest and their party to leave the site immediately. Any refund will be at the discretion of the management.
